Over 100 Central Michigan University students strutted their stuff on the runway in a Komplique model casting call.

The top 35% of applicants who sent in their pictures went head to head last night, trying to earn a spot in the top fifty cut.

The event took place at CoCo Joe's, and marked the first round of the four cuts to be made in the casting.

The owner of the company, who was once a CMU student himself, is offering a $5,000 CMU scholarship to the winner.

In support of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week, a local theatrical performance focuses on hunger in Gratiot County.

First-year Alma College students present, "The Invisible Ache: Fighting Hunger in Gratiot County," tonight at 7 p.m. in Jones Auditorium on the Alma College campus.

These students took a service-learning seminar through the college and served food at the Community Cafe in preparation for their performance.

The Chippendale's are headed to mount pleasant to perform at the soaring eagle casino. Hailed as "the ultimate girls night out" the Chippendale's have been making women swoon for years. Tickets for tomorrows 8 p-m show are available at the soaring eagle box office.

The Alma College Dance Company is performing their season-opening concert this weekend. The program is said to be a celebration of dance and how it speaks to emotions. Performances are set for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday... and Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Mount Pleasant area offers a couple of theatrical performances this weekend.

Central Michigan's "The Secret Garden" begins tonight in Moore Hall's Bush Theater at 7:30. The show plays the same time on Friday and Saturday, ending with a Sunday showing at 2 p.m.
